*Babbles up a storm, and can have 2-3 minute monologues; but no real words in all that babbling except "here ya go." Super cute as my other kids didn't do this.
*Real Words: mama, dada, bye, uh-oh, up ,here-ya-go, go (should have 8+words and putting 2 words together). We have chosen not to pursue speech therapy at this time.
*Signs: more, up, all done, eat, please, milk
*"Reads" books to Jenna. I'm trying to get this on video but have been unsuccessful so far
*Started real walking at end of 16 months after walking on knees for months
*Sleeps through the night mostly and takes 1 nap (90min-2 1/2hrs). We are not on any kind of schedule. I don't mind, they sleep when they need to, and are super flexible
*Sleeps in crib 50% of time, PnP in closet other 50% (depends on how Jenna is doing). Light sleeper.
*Likes to eat, but much pickier than Jenna. Favorite foods are banana, cheese, yogurt, crackers, peanut butter sandwiches, pears, watermelon, cantaloupe and those squeeze baby food packets.
*Plays with toys. Very strange and weird concept for me.
*Only drinks water
*Paci and pink blankie for sleep
*Nicknames: Bugga, Bugs, Nattles
*Self-weaning now. 


Jenna pushed the stool over to the counter, climbed up, peeled and ate this banana!!

I simply could not get a good picture of the twins together, looking at the camera  and smiling. This is the best one. UGH.

*Doesn't really babble, but has a lot more real words than Nats
*Real words: mama, dada, go, up, uh-oh, baby, bugga (bu-bu), byebye, Allison (sin), paci (pa), blankie (bain) and will try to repeat anything you ask her to. Cute.
*Signs: up, all done, more, eat.
*Loves to be held, loves to snuggle
*Started walking at the end of 15 months
*Sleeps through the night and takes 1 nap (3-4hrs). Sleeps much longer and harder than Natalie. Prefers crib. Natalie often tries to wake her up when they are in the same room, so I'll often put Nats in the PnP so Jenners can sleep in or take longer naps.
*Great eater. LOVES any kind of fruit, cheese, cereal, crackers, yogurt, sandwiches. Will try new foods but casseroles.
*Doesn't play with toys. Dumping everything. Into everything. Loves to empty drawers, pull out tupperware, destroy playroom, play in toilet, shred paper, etc, etc, etc. Favorite toys: my phone, remote, keys (only if they are real).
*Only drinks water
*Paci and green blankie for sleep. Much more attached than Natalie.
*Nicknames: Jen-Jen, Jenners
*Self weaned at 17 months

Whoever said, "don't cry over spilled milk" never actually tipped over a bottle of human milk. They should have clarified that with "don't cry over spilled COW'S milk."  And those same people never had to throw away old/bad/allergy-filled human milk either. I've been wanting to post on this topic for awhile now. I don't go through a week without someone saying the words, "I don't know how you do it," or some variation of that. Most people are well intentioned, and just can't imagine having 4 young kids, especially having twins....at least, I think that is what they mean. I always want to have a really good comeback, but most of the time I wonder what "it" is. So I decided to see what Google had to say on "it." Why I love....bold honesty {my eating disorder recovery}

I'm a pretty bold, honest person. I say it how it is. Those of you who have know me for only the past 10 years or so wouldn't believe that I haven't always been like this. The lying started in high school...at first, it was just my feelings & emotions. In college I progressed to hiding some pretty horrible behaviors. In the early post-college years I flat out lied about close to everything. The hiding and lying threatened my job and almost took my life. I hated myself. I hated my body, my personality, everything. And I didn't know why. I had no idea why I was so depressed, confused and angry. I had had a wonderful childhood and came from a great family. There was no abuse, no rebellion, no tragic deaths or horrible secrets. So the guilt set in. Shoot, I don't even have a good reason to feel this way. Depression turned to guilt turned to shame.
